Many of the pre-fall collections that usually tend to get me all wow’ing and so did very little for me this time around. Having that said, as to no surprise (to myself at least), like Phoebe Philo, Stella McCartney always delivers and these are my favourites looks, androgynous classic pieces with maxi proportions signed either of these two ladies can hardly go wrong, can they……
I know how to appreciate a great biker jacket when I see one, and it feels like I’ve been searching around forever for a more oversized model with a little length. So when I came across this beauty by Joseph on sales the other day I didn’t hesitate very long. Except for the soft leather I guess I fell for the collar which makes it a little more snuggy and dressy in a way. As for the oversize feature I have no other choice than wait until my pregnancy is over, oh mid February may you come quicker than soon!

I dont’ know why, but for some reason I find it almost impossible to find chic iphone 5 cases these days (did you hear that all brands out there!). Sadly the London weather hasn’t been very generous lately, cloudy and grainy, and I can’t recall when we last experienced blue skies, which make me almost miss the clear, bright and cold Scandinavian winters (well, just almost!).

Speaking of Balenciaga, cant help but loving the campaign for Nicolas Ghesquiere‘s last collection for the fashion house, photographed by Steven Meisel. This SS13 campaign includes some of my favourite key pieces this spring that I cannot wait to see in real time.
It’s not just Balenciaga’s stacking ensembles of golden rings that would be warmly welcomed in my jewellery tray right now, but I could easily make room for this timeless leather bracelet while we’re at it, also by Balenciaga and yours for £195.
Today my pale wintery feet jumped into my new graphic python gommino’s that I posted about before Christmas (love, love, love them!). Many of you have asked me where to find these limited edition pair amongst others, and now Tod’s has finally launched an European e-commerce on their website, where you’ll find these beauties if interested, and SS13 collections available from end of January.

I cant say this is the most revolutionary and inspiring Phoebe Philo collection I’ve seen, but the tailored pieces and some of the white-shirt-looks (minus the shoes!) in Celine’s pre-fall are definitely right up my alley.
Many thanks for uplifting words on my previous outfit post, and great feedback regarding honesty, something I intend to keep all the way (no conspiracy club here no).
Bodycon midi dresses are btw new favourites in my wardrobe, and super comfy with an expanding bump. Except for a few midi dresses I already had I’ve bought some extras on the high street just to have more options, and as long as they are stretchy there’s no need to look in the maternity departments(!), just saying.

Woop, woop, happy Monday morning!
I’ve been spending some time this weekend going through all spring collections again (!), and one of the ones I’m looking forward myself to hit stores soon is Unique’s chic, airy and sophisticated collection. It includes everything from graphic pieces, asymmetric dresses to all monochrome looks for a (little!) more affordable penny.
If I said I love getting dressed these days I would be lying, I can easily forget about most things in my wardrobe for now, except from a very few jeans, tops and dresses that are sort of being circulated. And while we are at it, telling the truth I mean, it’s not always easy to embrace all changes to your body while your reflection in the mirror is moving further and further away from yourself.
BUT, being blessed with a strong health, a good spirit, and the light at the end of the tunnel coming closer makes up for it all (something I’m being told all the time!).

Ok, I can’t say that it happens very often that Max Mara has been source of my inspiration, but ever since I came across the spring campaign a month ago it’s been hiding in the back of my mind, suddenly I’m dreaming of sandy colours and classic-safari-minimalism come spring. I totally agree with Cathy Horyn who gives her thumbs up to this campaign, which is strong, polished and elegantly beautiful, and just like that Max Mara is on my radar……
