As I often look like this on busy days I’m in a hurry or on the run I might as well include it here, flats, jeans and a good knit, nothing special at all, perhaps an overdose of greys, but on some days that does it for me!

I wasn’t too found of some of Balmain SS13 80-90’s power-suit-women marching down the runway, with shoulder paddings out of this world, but I absolutely loved their hair. I used to wear this kind of not-so-perfect-braided-hair as a kid, and now I feel tempted to give it another go, with a pair of cool earrings, denim, leather, or a cozy knit, it’s so fresh!
Green is one of my favourite colours, all shades included, so you can imagine my attraction to this woman’s outfit back in Paris was pretty obvious, I mean green and Proenza Schouler in one, couldn’t be any better. This gorgeous collarless tweed jacket from Proenza Schouler’s pre-fall 2012 collection has long time been sold out, but you’ll find the skirt here, though in orange/pink.
…. I’m gonna wear my new feather padded snow parka by Acne, in other words, I’ve got no intentions of freezing during the winter months ahead. These “typical-Scandinavian-style” coats are selling rapidly, and if you wanna lay your hands on one yourself you’ll find them here, yours for £560.
Happy Monday noon out there, hope your weekend turned out all fabulous!!!
On my side it’s been cozy, still embracing relaxing weekend-time after fashion month and chilled around and about in West London, late brunches and a little shopping. As we’re heading towards chillier days and I’ve been stocking up a little with wool pieces in my wardrobe, like this LBD in wool by IRO that I got while in Paris. Suddenly this classic, comfortable little piece has become my new wardrobe favourite, and if I was a little lazier I would probably slipped it on every morning.
Either you’re a true Isabel Marant girl at heart or usually like parts of Marant’s collections, I’m sure you’ll find pieces in the “hawaiian-Elvis”-inspired SS13 collection qualifying for your spring-wish-list. We all know that the most coveted Marant pieces usually fly off the shelves, especially the shoes. But if you want to make sure to lay you’re hands on your favourite runway pieces you can pre-order at Moda Operandi right now until 11pm (EDT) 18th of October. My favourites are the brown studded high heel sandals, shown above in white, and the gorgeous blouse worn by Aymeline Valade, mmmm…..
If you haven’t seen the great Miu Miu SS13 collection yet, here’s the full show. Except for the beautiful items and girls walking up and down the runway (and stairs!), the show really is a pleasure for the eye, the music, setting and collection coming together creating a very sophisticated cool magic moment. Happy Friday morning out there!
Woop woop, I’m slowly getting more comfortable wearing more fitted clothing these days, though I love maxi proportions and slouchy silhouettes, it’s not always the best idea going looser while parts of your body gets bigger, which actually ends up doing nothing for you.
I wore this last week in Paris while the weather was wonderful, rather the opposite of London today where it’s wet and chilly, and the coats are back on. New leather leggings by Joseph, angora knit by Hofmann Copenhagen, boots by Isabel Marant, new bag by Tod’s, bracelet Cooee, watch Tagheuer and sunnies by Tom Ford.
An every year winter favourite of mine are a pair of leather leggings, sorry, but on really chilly days wide legged leather pants or similar just doesn’t do it for me. If I hadn’t already got a new pair of stretchy ones with an elastic waistband (due to my growing “belly-condition”) I would have start saving for these ones by L’Agence, pricy as leather trousers usually are, but the perfect fit with side pockets, you’l find them here for £800.
Well hello there, if the freshly released campaign images of the collaboration Maison Martin Margiela + H&M are anything to go by I say hurray!!!!! The images photographed by Sam Taylor-Johnson are absolutely stunning and the pieces looks fantastic, those coats are officially on my wishlist, so I cannot wait to feel the fabrics up close.
The collection will be available in stores and online on November 15th.
Remember my image back in September of Geraldine Saglio where I asked you guys about her perfect pumps? The feedback from you was amazing and with your help we narrowed down the pair to be Jimmy Choo’s Agnes. Mine in suede debuted in the Tuileries sand last week, perhaps not the cleverest choice, but I love them so much I’m considering getting them in nude suede or snake print as well. Extra plus for the heel height of 3.5 inches which is very “walkable” (hoping my parents read this!).
I’m feeling in the mood of rings these days and during London fashion week I came across Italian designer Maria Francesca Pepe’s designs at the Somerset House, fashion jewellery with just the avant-garde look that I personally like, edgy but still delicate. From a price point of view it’s not bad at all, these hypoallergenic brass rings start from £45 to £122, all available on her website.
Every early fall no matter trend alert I crave for something burgundy. Last year it was an oversized burgundy knit, inspired by Celine’s fantastic pre-fall 2011, that found it’s way to my wardrobe. This year it’s this jacket from Topshop Unique, not sure though if it was the colour or cut that got me.
Anyway, here’s what I wore one day in Paris last week, it was chilly in the air but a really beautiful day. I wore a wool skirt and t-shirt by Acne, jacket by Topshop Unique (sold out but this one is similar biker style), boots by Phillip Lim, bag by Proenza Schouler, bracelet Hermes and Cooee, and sunnies by Tom Ford.
