Breeze


It’s Saturday morning again and I can’t get my head around how fast this week has passed. Some of you may have noticed my-not-so-regular-posts this week and I’m really sorry for that, but I’ve had a million things to do that needed to be finished off before this weekend, and sadly my dear blog have taken the effect,  but I hope to make it up here in terms of content and enthusiasm. On Monday morning I’m heading over to Paris couture weekend to soak up all the beauty and I’ll bring you along with me.

Yesterday London weather was a slightly chiller and more windy so I wrapped up a little, I wore an old leather gilet from H&M,  jeans by J Brand, cotton tee by Proenza Schouler, sandals Celine, bag by Givenchy and Ray Ban’s.

Leopard

For fall I might feel in mood of a bag in some sort of leopard print, I’m still beating myself a little for not striking on a leopard cabas tote by Celine I came across the summer sales, but this one could perhaps make up for it (at least halfway), this beauty is by Alexander Wang (£961) and can be pre ordered here.

I’m not Rihanna’s greatest fan but somehow she has managed to sneak upon me, and right now this song is burning a hole in my player, perhaps it’s down to Coldplay, who knows, but I’m loving the “Hero-inspired” video as well…..

Hint of tropics

We’ve finally got a little more taste of summer in London and I don’t need to be asked twice to make the best out of it, though I’d would be very happy to see more of the sun itself. Anyway, sun or not, I felt inspired to wear a hint of tropics in form of this bag paired with an otherwise monochrome look yesterday. As we constantly need to bring along an umbrella and jumper these days the size of this bag is perfect even if I optimally wish it contained a beach towel and “beachy” literature.

Thanks to my friend David who snapped me, I wore denim shorts by MiH, shirt by Acne, bag Stella McCartney, shoes Zara, bracelet Margiela, watch Tagheuer and Ray Ban’s.

Todays shoes

Yes, I decided to get these slingbacks I posted about earlier from Zara, and after strolling around in them today with my feet perfectly intact I must say they area true budget bargains. I’ll post a whole outfit post later on but first, have you noticed my new logo on top made by my friend Shini, thank you so much hun! In fact my whole site will have a tiny facelift within short and I hope you’ll like it.

Limited Edition NY-watch

For you out there who are fans of Michael Kors watches here’s a little tip. Inspired by the classic runway watch model (a golden favorite in my own wardrobe) Michael Kors will release a limited collection in August in homage to his favorite city, NY. The watch has a diamond-embellished face and features the inscription ‘New York’, a skyline engraving on the back, and comes in a dark leather box with gold accents, I’d say a desirable collectors item for Kors-fans.

Easy going

Sorry for lousy updates the last couple of days but I’ve been celebrating midsummer with friends the whole weekend enjoying soused herrings, baby potatoes, snaps and not enough sleep. Though I had so much fun I now feel like checking into to a relaxing spa, hehe!

Sadly I’ve been a lousy photographer as well this weekend, but here’s what I wore on Thursday, shorts + blazer, an easy going classic combo I’ll sport more often. Old blazer from Zara, shorts and loafers by Acne, blouse from Mango, bag by Celine, watch Tagheuer and Ray Ban’s.

Bicolor

One of my finds during the sales was this skirt by Balenciaga, I totally fell for the shiny fabric and shape which kind of has a life of it’s own. Keeping the short length in mind I decided to wear it with flats to tone it down a little earlier this week, but this skirt has a million styling opportunities so it won’t be the last time you’ll see it here for sure.

Friday

Ok, I know that most of the European continent and other countries on our altitudes have blooming summer temperatures, in England however it’s just sad, chilly and rainy, but I’ve had it with trousers and will persistently wear shorts and dresses from now on. I already got these denim shorts but wouldn’t have mind pairing them with all these beautiful goodies right now on my Friday run. I would wear this look with flat sandals for daytime and carry along these pretty sling backs to slip into for Friday drinks later on, sadly the umbrella would need to come along too.

Saint Laurent Paris

It’s been confirmed that the legendary French fashion house Yves Saint Laurent will be rebranded to Saint Laurent Paris. The “name change” is part of the newly appointed creative director of the house, Hedi Slimane’s, way of moving the house forward, reports WWD, however the YSL logo will remain the same.

Volume

Ok, I know, lots of jumpers and trousers lately, but it hasn’t been warm enough to wear much else. Without sounding too negative I’m actually happy I didn’t stock up many summery things for hot days in the city this spring, how sad would that be, just seeing them hanging there. But I really hope I’m wrong and that things will come around, half summer in and half summer left today.

Anyway, this is what I wore on Saturday, apparently I felt like volume on that day, but I blame the wind for the unintended voluminous wild hair. Silk trousers from Topshop Boutique, jumper from Nowhere, shoes Alexander Wang, bag Celine, bracelets Cooee and Ray Ban’s.
