Mmmmmmm, I really want this beautiful fall version of Altuzarra’s popular summer shoe, just gotta embrace my feet with these candies!
Happy Monday folks!!!
I don’t sing in the rain, but rain is pretty much what we’ve been seeing in London this last week, so what to do about it? The rain itself was the perfect excuse to stay indoor this weekend, not that I really needed one as I’ve got loads of unfinished work to do in my new home. As a little treat for the depressing weather I treated myself and the new flat with a little shopping spree, perfectly balanced, though I would rather have spent more time in the shoe gallery than staring at wine glasses, hehe…
Casual outfit from Saturday, I wore a cashmere coat from Topshop Boutique, t-shirt by Back, jeans J Brand, belt Acne, shoes Camilla Skovgaard, bracelets Cooee and bag Celine.
Fancy new accessories this spring? Well I do, and in this sensual video from Vogue Italia’s March editorial starring Guinevere van Seenus photographed by Sølve Sundsbø there’s plenty of inspiration from the most desirable designers, chains, plexi, crystal, spikes, collars, lace, caps and other head pieces…..
Despite the weather in London right now that resembles more fall than spring I refuse to jump back into closed boots and tights. On days like these I opt for favorites and comfortable staples in my wardrobe, like these wool pants from Cos that you’ve seen a trillion times before, one of the pieces I’ve got that really have maximized their utility. Anyway, this is how I looked yesterday and I managed to stop by a good friend and cuddled with an adorable newborn, welcome to the world little Edoardo!
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!
Parka by Isabel Marant, trousers Cos, knit Topshop, shoes Acne, bracelet Cooee, watch Tagheuer and bag Isabel Celine.
Just heard on the news today is the wettest day in London this year, gray, rain and cold, not my favorite combination, but they usually go hand in hand, and sadly my inspiration for getting dressed goes along with it. This pair of lovely ladies though, casting agent Natalie Joos and Tatler director Anya Ziourova, didn’t go gray and dull and seemed unaffected by the chilly rain at Paris Fashion Week back in early March, both wearing strong coordinated pieces by London based designers behind Ostwald Helgason and J.W.Anderson.
Hey, I’m back in London, and have loads to catch up on, except for work and updates I’m actually longing to stroll around and see what’s new in stores, hehe, I’ve been missing that part. Anyway, I’m a total sucker for khakis and whites and love the styling in Mango’s lookbook for summer by Geraldine Saglio, tempted to steel the first look one day very soon…..
Sabaidee, I thought Phuket was hot, but I can promise you Laos is even warmer, and I’ve been soaking up by various pools in Vientiane this week, the only place to be unless you’re hiding indoors, like most locals do, something I do understand though as the sun here is burning hot.
I’ve to admit dressing for humid 40 degrees isn’t that inspiring as what works best is floating fabrics and flat sandals, this day however I made a small attempt to put some more effort into it without melting away.
My little adventure has soon come to an end, tomorrow evening I’m heading back to Europe and London, so soon back to reality, see you there!

Yeah, good news for us Londoners as rumors are saying that Celine will finally launch a store in London after years of limited collections under other retailers roof. The new location is said to be at 103 Mount Street, just a stone throw from Balenciaga (which btw is really worth stopping by, such a beautiful store!), could easily become my new favorite shopping street in London.
Happy weekend everyone!
As always when I pack my suitcase for a trip or holiday there are things I either forget to bring along or I urge that I had in my closet, like these picks. How I could forget a summery tote and open sandals at home is a mystery, and I’ve concluded that a small iphone bag to carry around the neck would have been perfect. Well, it’s to late now but I’ll for sure keep these beauties on my mind for my next trip.
1. Silk dress by Isabel Marant, 2. Sunnies by Alexander Wang, 3. Canvas tote Proenza Schouler, 4. Sandals by Givenchy, 5. Iphone sleeve Valentino, 6. Skirt H&M, 7. Floral blazer Maarten Van Der Horst for Topshop.
I’m not a big fan of paisley, whether it’s due to the association to home interior I don’t know, but somehow I’m a little more convinced than before, and I blame Raf Simons for that. So when I packed my suitcase for tropical days in Asia this old paisley smock insisted to come along, among with other airy light fabric dresses that are perfect to throw over a bikini. That’s pretty much what I’ve been wearing most of the time in the tropical heat, the freckles are back on and I’ve taken a break from hairdryers and make-up, wonderful!
Images taken in Phuket, I wore a dress Line of Oslo, shoes Alexander Wang, bracelets Proenza Schouler and Cooee, watch Michael Kors and Ray Ban’s.
Goodbye wonderful Ayara Kamala, lazy days by the pool, cocktails, fruit plates and good reads, now I’m just about to run to the gate for my flight to Bangkok and then heading for next destination, Laos, see you there!
Oh btw, these books are great reeds if you haven’t already read them, in my opinion Coelho’s books are absolutely fantastic, that should be elementary in school, thank you little sister for these gifts, I’m ashamed I haven’t read them earlier.
Headhunter by Jo Nesbo is a must by a Norwegian writer if you like more action, will definitely run out and get the DVD as soon as I get home.
And while we are at it, hanging by the pool I mean, these are my new favorites to avoid getting burned. Except from succeeding to protect my fair winter skin from the tropical sun, these products are super moisturizing, long lasting and smells wonderful, so well worth those extra pennies, thumbs up!
