I wouldn’t say no this eye catching Marni designed chair in my new living room, which is part of a special collection of 100 chairs produced for the charity project “L’Arte del Rittratto”. Images of the whole collection will be released on Anticamera during the Milan Furniture Fair from 17 to 22 April.
Hi guys, I feel so sorry for my blog being neglected this week but I finally begin to see a light at the end of the tunnel, yeah! My utility outfits continues, denim, shirts and khaki jackets are favorites at the moment, and in this moving process I’ve rediscovered old favorites, like this vintage army jacket and my old time love a men’s shirt by Dior, perhaps I should be moving more often?
Wishing you all a wonderful Thursday in the wonderful spring weather!

The sun is shining, it’s warm and I wouldn’t mind looking like this today, instead I’m running around like crazy in converse, jeans, tee and a bun, closing boxes and directing people where my stuff is going. Today is the big moving day, and I just realized I chopped all my nails in the process, well I’ll survive. Anyway, thumbs up to Alexa Chung for this perfect laidback combo of Celine florals, a Bella Freud ‘je t’aime Jane’ jumper and patent loafers, not envy at all…….
It’s not often I tip about beauty products as I don’t experiment much, but these goodies are new favorites of mine and it doesn’t hurt that they all come in a beautiful package.
L’eau De Chloe is a super fresh floral citrus fragrance, and doesn’t feel heavy at all on the skin, just the way I like it! YSL Volupte lipstick in Sheer Candy is perfect if you prefer a moisturizing lipstick (don’t we all?), good points for the fruity taste. Dior mascara’s have been favorites for years though I’ve felt the result could easily be a little too dramatic, the latest one however, Diorshow NEW LOOK is a great tip if you prefer more natural looking lashes.
Gosh, I wish it was me sitting there chilling by a pool right now in this fantastic minty-green shorts suit from Christopher Kane’s metallic spring collection, but seriously who wouldn’t. Anyway, since I came across this editorial photographed by Nicole Bentley for Vogue Australia back in January it’s been glued on my mind, beautifully done with a longing summer breeze, check it out here.
The weather has been absolutely gorgeous this weekend and for the first time this year it was warm enough for me to stroll around in sandals and t-shirt, ok, I carried around a jacket as well knowing it would be cooler later in the day.
I prefer to keep my outfits pretty simple in these moving days and constantly carry around a pair of sneakers just in case I need to roll up my sleeves.

Today I had a quick run through Selfridges and on my way out passing the bag department (very dangerous!) I spotted Sophie Hulme‘s latest collection of bags, and I love the creations of this London designer, very structured and clean detailing in beautiful leather, and the price range isn’t too bad. The satchel in the middle comes in black, petrol, tan and yellow and costs £225.
Karlie Kloss would probably look stunning in whatever she puts on, but with a classic like double denim + leather jacket, and a large Chanel flap bag on your shoulder, no one can do a thing wrong, a timeless casual chic classic that is lifted by the perfect shade of red lips. I usually forget the detailed red lips myself and always remember later in the day what I forgot to give it all a boost, something I’ll try to remember……
Zara April Lookbook
White and whites, just what I want to wear these days, and it looks like Zara’s got plenty to offer right now in Zara’s April lookbook fronted by beautiful Liu Wen. Though many of the looks come with a high polyester warning(!), there are definitely some pieces worth checking out.
It’s transitional days indeed, in more than one way, I’m longing to wear bare legs but the temperature is not really there yet, so the opaques are still hanging on. Then there is this moving process that moves so slowly, wish it could all be done at once, and then I try to squeeze in a million other things at the same time, the furniture is delayed so I guess next week I’ll be camping on my new floor.
But in all this “waiting” there are so many expectations and wonderful things to be positive about, like the other day when I met up with my lovely heavily pregnant girlfriend in Covent Garden, who’s actually due this week, needless to say she’s also in transition, and being a great sport she snapped me from the outdoor bench I insisted she should sit down and rest on, thank you Julie dearest and good luck!
Puuh, you were right guys, moving is not fun at all while you’re in the middle of it, but it will be worth it at the end of the tunnel for sure. While I upload some photos and go through my inbox that haven’t been touched for days here are Lagerfeld, Roitfeld, and SJP’s thoughts about Chanel’s Little Black Jacket during the making of the book project.
