Tomorrow I’ll be heading to a sunny and mild Milan and wouldn’t mind bringing along any of these goodies to implement with already existing stuff in my wardrobe.
Hope this week has kicked off well for all you guys, I’ve been living in a bubble lately myself, fashion week and a really stubborn cold that just won’t let go, has also reduced my hearing a lot. I hope a few relaxing days at home before I go to Milan should just be it.
Anyway, here’s what I wore on Sunday, a little mix of this and that, pants and knit from H&M, leather jacket Topshop Boutique, shoes by Acne, bag Celine, watch Tagheuer and earrings by Chanel.
One of the designers that caught my eye at the exhibition at the Somerset House is Julian Hakes. The designer who’s an architect at heart has collaborated with designers like Ann Sofie Back in the past, and creates the most sculptural and unique shoes that are ergonomically shaped for the foot. They might look chunky on their own but looks so delicate on the foot, imagine in plexiglass, oh, sign me up on that list!

One very sharp eyed reader asked me earlier today if these details was on me that she spotted on Carolines Mode, and yes it is, yesterday’s details captured with a super cool lens. I’ll show you all outfits from this fashion week later on, but first I’ve got loads of other images to upload and then I’ll probably fall unconscious on my bed after some noodle soup.
You haven’t missed out on Topshop Unique‘s fantastic (and affordable) fall collection, no doubt the strongest I’ve seen from Topshop ever. Fe-masculine military dressing with no quirky styling in sight, thumbs up to Emma Farrow, enjoy!
I might have come across the most perfect spring parka that works perfect for transitional days, and though the color might feel dull in these delicate-candy-days, it kind of works with everything + fulfills practical needs against wind and rain (my father would be proud if he heard me saying this!). It was the perfect choice on Saturday as the weather looked a little unstable when I looked out the window, and I was one of the lucky ones later on when it was pouring down.
Jonny Johansson has really pulled in (and moved up!) the waistline in Acne’s A/W 12-13 collection, where mini-corsett-looking-belts is worn over outerwear, chunky jumpers and shirts, creating playful, long and feminine silhouettes. There is also focus on the neck, and those looks who don’t have a turtle neck already is styled with giant tribal looking neck collar’s that emphasises the shoulders.
I especially like the jumpers and jackets in this collection, not to mention the sporty’ish shoes, those white ones would have been perfect right now. These are my favorite looks, look through the whole collection for yourself here.
Ciao, I’m here though you don’t hear much from my side right now, that’s how it usually is during fashion weeks but I’ll do my best to update often. Anyway, I have the feeling that 2012 is the year that knee-height boots finally will catch up with ankle boots after a few half hearted attempts previous seasons. During my stay in Oslo earlier this week I ran straight into these from several seasons ago by Acne for a great price, they are a little awkward and a little Margiela’ish, and needless to say super comfy and warm.
Happy Saturday eve!

I caught the flu a couple of days ago, but stubborn as I am I fought my way to the Somerset House today, and jumped into this outfit as the temperature was mild and I was fighting a fever. I’ll post the whole outfit later on, cause now I need to climb down from the 5th floor to dine on St.Martin’s Lane. Have a lovely Friday eve!
Skirt by Karl, knit by YSL, bracelet by Balenciaga and bag Celine.
London Fashion Week kicks off today and I’m just about to head over there, so it’s the perfect time to show you another one of my favorite collections from NYFW by Proenza Schouler. It includes so many mouth watering jackets that it’s hard to pick a favorite, boxy and loose silhouettes, loads of leather and embroidered opulent fabrics. Enjoy the whole collection here and see you later.
