A mix of structures

On Saturday I dug out these soft leather pants from Cos in my wardrobe, one of my favorite pieces last year and I’ve got no plans of forgetting about them very soon either. The jumper is by Nowhere and I’m really positive surprised by the quality, every time I’ve worn it strangers have commented on it, one girl in a restaurant even sent the waiter over to ask me where it was from, so thumbs up!

Anyway, I wore this on Saturday noon when I was chilling in my hood and got pampered by my hairdresser before the big party, I wore leather pants from Cos, knit by Nowhere, clutch YSl, shoes Camilla Skovgaard, sunnies Phillip Lim, watch Tagheuer, bracelet Margiela, necklace Tiffany’s and ring Pamela Love for Topshop.

Budget favorites

I wouldn’t mind any of these goodies, all for a very reasonable price, trousers by Nowhere, printed shirt Topshop, and a collar necklace from Asos with a Marni’ish feel to it, perfect to spice up a knitted jumper, like Frida.

Yesterday eve

Wow, I had so much fun yesterday, me and my friend Maggie’s party turned out a success and we ended up dancing into early morning at Dorsia, a club in South Kensington with great DJ’s. Massive thanks for all kind gratulations and to those of you who celebrated with us!

I wore a new silk dress from Topshop, necklace by Merle O’Grady, bracelet J Dauphin, clutch YSL and shoes Camilla Skovgaard.

Red, white & blue

Sorry, don’t have much time to either upload images or say much, I’m soon heading out the door for a party, in fact my own party, tomorrow’s my birthday but tonight’s the big bang and I guess I for once should be on time to welcome the guests, or perhaps I’ll do it the American-sweet-16-way, making a grand entrance after all guests have arrived, no, I’ll skip that.

Wishing you all a fun night too, Ciao!

Here are some details I wore earlier today and I’ll do a whole outfit post tomorrow. Leather pants Cos, knit Nowhere, clutch YSL, watch Tagheuer, bracelet Margiela and Chanel’s Black Pearl on my nails.

We are the people

What’s on repeat on my mind is Empire Of The Sun’s “We Are The People” and I find myself humming it constantly.
Now I’m heading to my hairdresser, check in later and enjoy the awkward video!

Picks

You can’t have everything in the world but it’s allowed to dream and I wouldn’t mind any of these items right now. Cashmere jumper by Carven, collar necklace by Merle O’Grady, Arty ring by YSL, leather clutch by Acne, Carine Roitfeld Irreverent

Smile

Hello there, it’s Friday again, always a day to celebrate, weekends are so much more fun right. Above casual dressed and happy models Julia Nobis (not sure who the other girl is, anyone?) off duty after the Valentino show in Paris a couple of weeks ago, caught in a moment that should bring a smile on everyone’s face.
Happy Friday!

The tuck

I don’t know if any of us could really claim to have started the tucking-the-shirt-half-way-trend but I’m very grateful and honored of being featured on the subject next to Elin Kling in Net-a-Porter’s latest Magazine. Thank you so much Net-a-Porter!!!!

Kate in lace

Image Harper’s Bazaar UK November 2011 – Kate Winslet by Tom Munro

Kate Winslet looks absolutely stunning in the spread “Forever chic” in Harper’s UK November issue sporting femme fatale looks in lace and silky fabrics. I’m in the mood of lace myself, and perhaps going stronger on the eyes, not for daylight though but after dark…..

Coat

Wow, the cold is here but I guess that’s how it’s suppose to be mid October, I’m so grateful for the last month of fantastic warm weather but now it’s time to adjust. I’ve got a few new pieces that has been longing to be worn on chilly days, like this coat by Isabel Marant, I love the shape of the dropped shoulders and it goes with everything. Have you found your coat yet?

Wishing you all a wonderful day!

Images taken on Sunday, I wore pants from Cos, silk top Burfitt, boots Topshop, bracelet Acne, watch Michael Kors, Ray Ban’s and bag by Celine.

Crispy blue

Back in July I posted about a crispy blue shirt and this it’s my latest buy, an oversized shirt by Acne in a beautiful silky surfaced cotton, perfect to tuck into a pair of jeans for an everyday casual look.

Ursina Gysi

Some days I wish I was blessed with long shiny locks like the cool and beautiful Swiss stylist Ursina Gysi, she really has caught my eye this past year with her very unique sense of style, a wonderful mix of robust fabrics and proportions, feminine vintage pieces, colors and prints, and tops every strong looks with tousled hair and minimal make-up, a cool girl indeed!

A classic

Ever since my “London Underground-stunt” a few weeks ago I’ve been looking around for the perfect classic black pumps as I broke the heel on my ever so beloved pumps from Cos, though my shoemaker fixed the damage they will sadly never be the same. However, finding a new pair that are comfortable enough for daily wear (forget about Louboutin’s!) was more challenging than I thought so I ended up relying on an old classic from Camilla Skovgaard that I already have in nude, though there’s some toe-cleavage going on they are the most comfortable stiletto’s I’ve ever worn.

The Serpentine

Hyde Park is magical this time of year, though I love it during summertime, I think fall in the park is so beautiful, especially when the weather is as great as it was this weekend. Late wine brunch at The Serpentine watching the sunset could fool anyone believing they are somewhere in the countryside and not in the heart of a metropole, except perhaps for the building constructions in the horizon.

This is exactly how I ended up spending my Saturday late noon and I wore a turtle neck from H&M, pants and sunnies by Phillip Lim, blazer Zara, shoes and bag Celine, watch Tagheuer and bracelet Margiela.

Ladylike

After the fashion month that just passed I can say I’m so over the sparkling Miu Miu shoes that popped up on every scene, I was already so over them when I left NY but their appearance in all colors continued their parade in London and Paris. But I do love many of Miu Miu’s A/W 11-12 dresses, though some are perhaps a little too ladylike for many of us, I think this woman hits it off so well in this floral crepe dress, looking just as fresh as the embellished flower prints.
