If there’s anyone’s wardrobe I’d love to raid it must be Taylor Tomasi Hill‘s, she cant put a foot wrong in my eyes and I love how she combines strong eye catching pieces with more basic ones. How she paired this gorgeous batik printed skirt with a trail by Thakoon with a basic top and booties is to me utterly perfection. If you fancy the same heavenly skirt here’s a cropped version and one similar with different print and a trail.
Hope you all had a great Halloween weekend!
When I headed for a party last night I had nothing prepared so I dug out this dress from not-the-coolest-brand, Karen Millen, but I found it on sales a couple of seasons ago and my tailor reconstructed it a little to fit perfectly. I wore a coat by Balenciaga but didn’t manage to catch it on camera, shoes by Camilla Skovgaard, bracelet Giuseppe Zanotti, and bag Helmut Lang, the mask is simply a piece of glittery lace fabric pinned in my hair.
After a couple of days of horror and late night partying I’m exhausted so now it’s time to spoil myself with facials and dig into a good book accompanied with licorice tea, my favorite for recovery.
It’s Halloween and I’m suppose to go to a masquerade party tonight, just wish I had a floor sweeping dress like this in my wardrobe. This “War Horse”-inspired spread, styled by Grace Coddington and photographed by David Sims in Vogue US November issue, is incredible beautiful and Arizona looks absolutely stunning, on the other hand, when doesn’t she. The weather in London right now is perfect to wear bare feet and a jumper, forget about the coat and hopefully it’s gonna last over the weekend. Btw, I have mixed feeling for these sandals, a love-hate-relation I guess, but as soon as I put them on I lean towards love cause they are pure therapy to my feet with the rubber sole, and even if they’re not the prettiest shoe they add something to any outfit.
Now, I’m gonna jump into a much more glamorous outfit, dinner out with the boys and it’s Friday, yeah, the best day of the week, wishing you all a lovely weekend!
Yammy, I wouldn’t mind wearing this outfit before it gets too cold outside, I find that knee length skirts without tights still work with the right booties and something warmer on the upper part. Sadly, I’m not the owner of any of these items (yet!), but I’m strongly craving all of them.
It’s not often we get to see Kate Lanphear wearing a feminine flippy skirt or any outfit that that enchants her tiny waistline, so I took the opportunity to store this rare moment on camera during fashion week in Paris. Off course staying true to her own style she went all black and accessorized with edgy silver rings.
If it hasn’t caught your eye yet here’s a sneak peak to what could be the jewelry-line that many fashionistas are gonna go crazy about in a month time. Prada has released their campaign images and a video, shot by Steven Meisel for their Resort 2012 collection and as you may know already many of these pieces were also seen on the Spring 2012 show, which means, you have the chance to lay your hands on spring goodies already in November, if you feel the urge….
I’ve always had a weakness for knitwear dresses with a turtle neck, not the most exciting garment in the world I know, but to me a favorite on chilly days when I just feel too lazy to think nor be creative. As I woke up a little late on Sunday due to heavy partying out, that was exactly what I felt like when I headed for a cozy Italian dinner in Covent Garden, bless Sundays!
Knitted dress Cos, coat Isabel Marant, shoes Celine, clutch Helmut Lang, Ray Ban’s, watch Tagheuer and bracelet Margiela.
Today I got totally surprised by heavy rainfall and like most people around I hadn’t thought of bringing an umbrella along, luckily I was in Chinatown so I found shelter in one of the many restaurant and enjoyed a dim sum lunch and green tea while I waited for the waterfall to stop, quite cozy actually, despite I was on my own.

Yeah, latest news on Karl Lagerfeld, the man of many talents, who doesn’t seem to have much time for leisure, is that he will design a new range called ‘Karl’. The rock’n’roll-inspired line will include biker jackets, shirts and dresses in the range of £50-£390, in other words a more realistic price range for most of us than his usual designs, and you’ll find it exclusively on Net-a-Porter from January 25th. Go Karl!

Wow, this is what I call a December issue cover, Gisele Bundchen photographed by Mario Testino in true 80’s spirits, no reindeers and Christmas sequins in sight but a vibrant mix of colors and spring looks, some of them perhaps a bit too much circus’y for my taste and the cover itself has a tacky warning, but fun indeed, and not at all what I would expect from Vogue UK. See the whole spread here.
My next buy might be a pair of white denims, I spotted many of the embrodiered jeans by Isabel Marant while in Paris but I’m craving for a plain pair like always chic Emmanuelle Alt, that would also look great tucked into a pair of boots. These, also by Marant, might be a candidate but I don’t like spending too much on a pair of jeans when you can find the perfect fit with a much better price tag, any of you lovely readers have any great tip?
Oki, gotta run, a delayed birthday dinner at a restaurant with a view, can’t wait!
