Erin Wasson for Zadig & Voltaire

A collaboration I’m gonna keep my eyes on is Erin Wasson for Zadig & Voltaire which is set to be introduced during Paris Couture Week in July. I really liked Erin’s line for RVCA and though her capsule line for Z&V is said to quite different I find these images and her description below very promising.

”Erin Meets Zadig was inspired by “life, classic cars, and Rod Stewart,” “The collection feels almost sensual. I wanted it to be about basic shapes with subtle texture.”

So I decided to put the scissors in a pair of old favorite jeans from Acne that I haven’t used for ages, they have achieved that perfect washed-out-worn-look that I like in black jeans, well, just hope I won’t regret.

Spinning

Yes, I’m into biker shorts lengths but I’m not totally sure about these samples above. In one minute I think it could work, styled with a pair of nice heels and the right top and avoid all sporty references. But the next second the flashbacks on my attempts to find spinning enjoyable at my local gym, like 10 years ago, which I never did, gets to strong. Anyway, If you fancy a pair you’ll find them on Topshop’s website and they are yours for £95 and £110.

Haunted

I’ve mentioned many times before how much I love Norwegian jewellery designer Bjørg‘s work and yesterday I tried on this silver ring when I stopped by Voga, which is one of the best stores I’ve ever stepped into in Norway. No buys for me this time though but I’m sure this ring will haunt me down…….

Ash cloud

After a few lovely days with family and friends I’m back in London, luckily the ash cloud haven’t managed to turn the world upside down yet but to be honest I wouldn’t have mind being stranded in Oslo for a couple of more days though the weather wasn’t that great.
I visited several stores this weekend and was thrilled to come across this blazer and belonging shorts from Acne that I wanted to get for ages but both have been sold out in my size like everywhere.

Vogue Paris June cover is out and I love it, it has a real supermodel era to it and I love that Isabeli Fontana doesn’t look into the camera, so unusual for a glossy cover isn’t. And as someone said already, doesn’t she look like Linda Evangelista?

Iceberg

I spent Saturday walking around in Oslo, among the places I visited was the gorgeous Opera House on the harbor, such a fantastic piece of architecture, like an iceberg ricing from the sea, my absolute best tip for tourists to visit!!!!

I wore top Zara, trousers Isabel Marant, jacket Vibe Johansson, sandals Prada, bracelet Hermes, sunnies Celine and clutch Helmut Lang.

Biker

I’m into biker shorts lengths at the moment and my next little project when I get back to London is to crop one of my skinny jeans.

Favorite skirt

My favorite item right now is this stripey skirt from Cos and beeing blessed with a handy mum is sometimes a saver for my wardrobe, she adjusted the length on it slightly and now it’s perfect! I wore it on Friday with Prada sandals and yellow toes, unfortunately I forgot to take images but I’ll wear it again soon for sure.

Spotted

Spotted these 2 gorgeous bags on my walk around Oslo today, the one on top by Antik Batik was really hard to leave behind, loved the vintage feel the sequins added to it and the leather was so perfectly soft. The brown beauty below was spotted at Samsøe Samsøe.
