Thank you so much for your tips and mails to my cry for help the other day. In 3 days I’ll be leaving for this island in Caribbean, Turks and Caicos, looks just perfect, longing to dip my toes in that clear blue water, sleep, read and recharge! Until then there are many things that need to be sorted and right now I’m working from the fire escape on my sunny roof.
Today I met up with my friend Estelle, had a stroll, late lunch in the sun and checked out bikini’s and sandals in stores.
I finally got to wear these candies that have been waiting patiently in my closet for a couple of months and except that I love the look of them they are super comfy as well.

On Sunday we joined a fabulous group of friends at late noon for an early dinner at a place called Roast at Borough Market serving excellent tasty british food, a very positive surprise I must say, both foodwise, price level and atmosphere. I’ll definitely go back for their roasted chicken, the best I tried in ages.
Oki, now I’ve got some work to finish and then I’ll join a wine tasting, have a lovely Monday eve!

Ok, I need a break and I’m going on vacation in 1 week, still haven’t decided where to go but the alternatives are down to Brazil, Caribbean, Maldives and Mauritius. I’m looking for a getaway trip where it’s hot and sunny and by hot I mean really hot, I love tropical heat. Knowing that fall already has started in the Southern hemisphere worries me slightly and I don’t want to cross the world with risk of chilly winds and cool water. So if any of you lovely readers have visited any of this places in end of April and would recommend it to me, please let me know, much much appreciated.
Yes, I ended up with the Phillip Lim bag over the Alexa in the end, as one of your readers pointed out, though the Alexa is a beautiful bag it’s already hanging on so many arms, so I decided to go for this one, which I still haven’t seen around and also more suitable for my needs.

I just dug out my old Minnetonka moccasins from my wardrobe, haven’t used them much lately but now they will be again for sure, cool and comfy!
Bad updates, I know and I’m sorry for that but I’ve been busy with other things this week. Yesterday I spent the day with a woman from Japan and she’s stayed in Europe for a short time before she, eventually, has to go back with her family, can you imagine people’s fears with that uncertainty that they just have to overcome, but they do it with oh such grace.
Ok, here’s an outfit update from today, I wore new jeans by Isabel Marant, belt also Marant, angora jumper H&M, shoes Cos, jacket Vibe Johansson, bag Celine and bracelet made by my little sister.
I would have loved to have these beauties from Alexander McQueen on display in my home which qualify side by side with other iconic fashion pieces and images, an art project I’ve dreamed of and most likely it’ll always be a dream. I don’t even like them as shoes but they are rather a beautiful piece of art which draws clear resemblance to the iconic Kate Moss hologram on McQueen Fall show in 2006, fashion and art united so beautifully, and can be watched again and again, gives me piece……
I was hoping to find something easy-to-wear, perfect to bring along on my vacation in a few weeks time when I stepped into H&M today to check out their Conscious Collection, but I wasn’t too impressed of what I saw but I really support the idea behind. These 2 followed me home though, a blazer and fringed top, perfect with denim and tan, both in organic cotton for a nice penny.
