Fashion or not, as I simply refuse to freeze my feet off on days like today and I’m not a fan of UGG’s, these are hereby added on my wish list for Christmas. Topaz is a Norwegian shoe producer specializing in arctic footwear and I bet these are one of the most solid boots you can find, made of seal, in fact I used to have a pair when I was like 3, so no more laughing at me tripping in heels when I go home, mum, dad, did you hear this? You’ll find them here.
Wee, now I can finally make it official, for the next couple of months I’ll be blogging on a daily basis as a Fashion Editor for Flingly with my first post today. The Flingly team contacted me regarding the position a few weeks ago and I decided to say yes, embrace all challenges that comes along is my rule and I it’s gonna be fun!!!!
Off course I will continue my daily blogging here as well and since the formats will be different I hope you’ll follow both blogs.
Ran out for a late dinner tonight at an excellent French tapas place I was introduced to by my friend Julie last week. The cold outside doesn’t make dressing any easier and it feels like creativity drops with temperatures at the moment, so in order to add some spice to my black “uniform” I painted my nails metallic blue and jumped into a pair of leopard heels.

Sigrid Agren as a black widow, photographed by Ben Hassett Numero China December 2010. I love these images, it’s like a Tim Burton Femme Fatale, creepy and beautiful!
Heading out into the darkness myself soon, dinner at a lovely french tapas place just around the corner, very handy in minus Celsius, have a lovely eve!

Since it’s high time to think about Christmas I made my own wish list as I’ve done every year since I was little but this year first time on the web. Except wishing for health and happiness for family and friends I wouldn’t mind finding any of these goodies underneath the Christmas tree and if I don’t that’s ok too, a wish list doesn’t always need to be fulfilled, it’s all about the dreaming.
Today was my debut attending a tennis game, Barclays ATP World Tour in the O2 arena, Federer vs Nadal in the final, even a non tennis fan like me have followed these guys the last couple of years on tv but I’ve never understood what was so great with this sport that can take up to 5 hours to finish. Having that said, now when I’ve been there, felt the energy, the show, and seen this gentlemen’s sport up close I feel completely different. I will definitely go and watch games live in the future, but following it intensively on tv is another story. Oh, Federer won in case you didn’t know.

Wow, it’s cold and these homemade knits made by my step mum or grandmother up in Norway is the only way to keep my feet warm in this freezing building.
Since I’ve got visits from Paris this weekend this day has been a typical touristic kind of day, except the shopping part, they didn’t seem to be much interested and I was quite happy about that for once, even if the cold was killing me I just didn’t feel like keeping my eyes open today, just relaxing, eating, talking and walking and when I was close to hypothermia we warmed up on Lumumba in a pub.
Going out for a great dinner later tonight and really want to put on something nice I recently bought, but the cold, the cold….

I’ve been looking around for the perfect oversized clutch for some time now. It needs to have that perfect soft leather so it looks a little bit out of shape and more comfy to wear under the arm. I love the Siamese bag from Alexander Wang on top and that clutch the man is holding is perfection. Last week I popped into American Apparel and they do have some interesting alternatives, come in 3 different sizes and a range of colors but it couldn’t keep the shape at all unless you stuff it all full, the hunt continues.
Met up with sweet Johanna today and popped into a few stores around Oxford Circus and a cozy brunch on Le Pain Quotidien. I think London have adopted the idea of Black Friday to a certain extend cause there were plenty of offers out there ending Sunday.
Now, speed cleaning at home, tomorrow we’ll have visitors from Paris.

Right now I fish I was in this city where lot of the retailers offers great deals in order to boost the Christmas shopping, I know for sure which shops I would have stopped by today. Was actually planning going to New York over Christmas but came to the conclusion yesterday to delay it to January and now leaning towards spending Christmas in the north of Norway and Paris, New york please wait for me!
Love the styling in this shoot with Edita Vilkeviciute for Vogue Germany December 2010 photographed by Alexi Lubomirski. I’m especially weak for the contrast, longer elegant skirt dressed down with a loose oversized knit and boots, a combo I sported myself a few months ago. I will post some images from that day when I played around in St.James Park with my talented friend Lawrence.
I managed two outfits in one day yesterday as I headed for a lovely dinner in the evening at the spanish restaurant Dehesa next to Carnaby Street and got full on Iberica ham and courgette flowers stuffed with cheese, oh so good!

I felt in the mood of flared leg pants today and dug out my old jeans from Acne, I know they are not the most flared legs pants out there but for someone who is used to stick their legs into skinny jeans it’s quite a different feeling. Met up with my friend Sarah on Brompton Road and had a great brunch followed by a swing into Harrods were we fell in love with a gorgeous sheep fur jacket from Acne in a mix of black and grey pieces. Ended up at Laduree where Sarah bought her evening food, she had me staring when she bought 4 cakes for 2 people, not bad for a petite woman ha!
