Today I’ve been running around like a crazy with a huge not-so-easy-to-carry package in my arms, it was a present for someone so I cannot say more, next time I’ll grab a cab for sure and not try to coordinate on the underground.

Managed to catch a little bit of daylight, it’s getting dark so early, so sad. I have to admit I haven’t been in the best shape today, well I got myself to blame for that, stopped by a great tapas place for a dinner so now I’m back in shape. I wore my beautiful new Mulberry baby today, I’m so happy with it!
Coat Oasis, dress Zara, shoes Acne and bag Mulberry
Wow, we had so much fun yesterday, haven’t had so much fun in a long time, dinner with friends in a member’s club in Soho and dancing the whole night at the Brompton Club.
As you see I haven’t done any drastic change to my hair, got cold feet when I was in the chair. I got some lovely presents though, books, candle, wine and a very useful little thing I will always keep in my hand bag, a hook to hang the bag on the table when you’re out, why haven’t I got this earlier?
I didn’t have one clear outfit photo of yesterday’s party but I wore the metallic top from Cos over a little black dress, heels Acne and bag Chanel.
Today I’m tired and haven’t done a thing so I’m heading out in the sun to enjoy what’s left, ciao!
On the other side having a birthday isn’t so bad after all, after being woke up in bed this morning with a bottle of champagne, cake, cards from family and the Mulberry bag I decided to get, the patent one, a present from my man, I think I easily could get used to it, he’s the best!
Right now I’m at my hair stylist getting pampered with prosecco and maybe, if I dare something new.
It’s passed midnight and I’m back to that day once a year which I never look forward to, my birthday. I’ve just spent the evening home with take away food and chilled, thinking, reflecting.
Usually thanks to lovely friends and family who are aware how much I dislike it, they always turn the day into something positive and I’ve got a pretty good feeling that when I wake up on in the morning I’ve got a wonderful day ahead. Good night everyone!
As for most other people this is the best day of the week and I have the feeling that this weekend’s gonna be superb!!! My Friday kicked off with a lovely lunch with Jill at Le Pain Quiotidien and stroll in Covent Garden. I’m in need though of another pair of boots, the Acne Cut in Wedges are still on top of my list but I’m also looking around for Winklepickers and I think I’ve found something interesting, when I get time I will head up to Camden Town and check them out in real life.

The Advertising Standards Bureau in Australia has decided that the new Calvin Klein Ads featuring Lara Stone on big billboards will be pulled in. There has been complaints that the image is demeaning to both women and men and that the scene is suggestive of violence and rape.
Personally I must agree and I haven’t been very fond of any of Calvin Klein’s recent ads. You can read the whole story here.
Sorry for not posting much today and the only images I can deliver are blurry, I tried to snap twice today and not very good results, my camera seems to be on strike. For a new camera all suggestions are very welcomed, I don’t need the best lenses in the world but the right camera for my daily use, street shots, portraits and to be able to get great images from fashion shows, I’m fully aware I need to learn how to use it the right way but I’m a very quick learner. Thank you all for your advices for the handbag, btw, I’ve almost made my decision, so thank you again!

You can find all these dresses online by clicking here, all of them can be worn casual or dressed up, a personal favorite is the black skater style dress, love it, I’ve tried it on and it was….perfect! Unfortunately it’s not the first on my priority list at the moment.
As I mentioned earlier I’ve been looking around for a pink pastel jumper or knit, still regret I didn’t get the vintage one I’ve posted in Pastels snapped by Hanneli. Today when I stopped by Topshop I found this one, perfectly loose, wide neck and oversized and now it’s hanging in my wardrobe.
This is the only shot of what I wore today, patterned tights Topshop, men’s shirt and wool cardigan Cos, scarf from Thailand and boots Acne.
Gotta get ready for a dinner out, ciao!
