Via Borromei

Ok, I’m heading back to London to get some work done before I repack my suitcase for Paris in a couple of days. Didn’t have much time for shopping in Milan but a quick trip by the Celine store on via Montenapoleone resulted in something that I’ve wanted for years, Christmas in February!

Norway

Yeah, I’m ready to go home, early flight tomorrow morning. This time packing was surprisingly organized and an easy task, 70% warm knitwear and a few dresses, cause where I’m heading there’s not much need of more, our country house, ok, I included a couple of heels too.
Just to give you guys a clue, when I arrive at the final airport I’ll need to take a small boat crossing a fjord to the final destination in complete darkness and silence. And by this time tomorrow eve I’ll be warming up in an outdoor jacuzzi watching the Northern Light.

Wishing you all a wonderful Christmas holiday and I’ll see you in Norway!

Right now

When on holiday a toes+in+the+horizon (or sand)+shot is obligatory, despite how your feet look. Sorry for bad posting the last few days but I’ve spent the last 24 hours sleeping. Now, I’m finally rested and have time to look through all pre-collections so far, I’ll give you an update and send you a postcard from Tenerife later on. Happy Friday everyone!

I want to go back

It’s not even December yet and I’m already hungering for a sun bed, pool and chilling. I haven’t had a proper off-holiday since April and I guess that’s the reason why it starts to sneak up on me early this winter. However I did get a little holiday feel during fashion week in NY, I stayed at the wonderful hotel Dream Downtown, the weather was absolutely gorgeous, and though I had busy days it was the perfect place to lean back from the hectic life outside, lobster cobb salad by the pool every morning, oh I want to go back…..

Rue de Rivoli

Yes, I ended up missing the whole Celine event this noon so I headed over to the Tuileries for breakfast along Rue de Rivoli while waiting for the next show. One of my favorite things in Paris is to sit outdoor on a bistro observing life around and that’s exactly what I did in the summery sun this noon.

US Open

Yesterday late noon I took a fashionable break from fashion and rushed to the hotel for a quick change for the US Open single men’s finale. Though I’m not a massive fan of tennis being there was magical and I was cheering Djokovic all way through (sorry to my Spanish readers).

Oki, gotta run again and I’m looking forward to Tibi’s show later today, you haven’t missed out that the Swedish blogger, Elin Kling, is styling it, I’m sure she’ll kick ass!

I wore skirt by Lord&Taylor, top and blazer Acne, shoes and sunnies Celine, bag Chanel and jewellery like before.

Dream Downtown

Just got back into my hotel room after missing a show, realized in a cab I wouldn’t make it and turned back, damn! Well, on the good side the hotel I’m staying in, Dream Downtown, is fantastic and though the view up from the window (a hole in the wall) isn’t the best it’s pretty good if you look down.
Now, Fashion’s Night Out, have fun!

Postcard

This weekend I also spent time in a beautiful village called Thonon on the french side along Lake Geneva, a perfect spot to calm down, relax and enjoy wonderful food, and the Salad de Chevre was probably the best I’ve ever tried. I’ll post some outfit images later on, have a lovely sunny monday noon!

Chilling in Evian

Right now I’m chilling in Evian by Lake Geneva, I wasn’t totally sure where I was going on this trip but it’s such a beautiful, relaxing and quiet place. Except for tanning, eating, drinking and finishing off some work, I also went on a wonderful boat trip on the lake, which made me long for my home city in Norway, the place my heart has been this past week…..

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!

Miami

My few days in Miami went so quickly so I didn’t have any time posting from there but I had a lovely time indeed. On the first day we were surprised with heavy rain so we decided to explore the shopping facilities in town and ended up at Bal Harbour Shops, a shopping mall with excellent shopping and small restaurants. I usually don’t fancy malls but this one was in fact a beautiful one, highly recommended.
The last day we enjoyed the rays by our pool at Delano on South Beach, lunching with friends and boom, the fairy tale was over this time around, but it was a damn good one.

Now, time to catch up on real life, but first a highly missed noodle soup in London’s China town!

Smile or Die

Ok, I just had my last dip into the sea and this island adventure is over this time around. No more exotic beaches for a while as sivilisation is knocking on my door but there’s still a few more days left of my trip, next stop, Miami, see you there!

Turquoise

It took  me some time before I got it, the name of the beautiful place I’ve been soaking up at during the last few weeks, Turks and Caicos, off course a reference to the clear turquoise water.

Sunset

Island life is still wonderful and it strikes me every day how stunningly beautiful it is here, the beaches are with no doubt the best I’ve ever seen, so clean and untouched and the light is magical around sunset, like here the other day when we headed the beach route to a restaurant, hence the footwear…….

Stripey

Woke up this morning and felt and urge to play tennis, haven’t played for ages but managed in some sort of way, though I have to work on my backhand, it’s slightly out of control…..

Now, beach and snorkeling!

On my way to dinner the other day wearing my new favorite dress from Cos, sandals Prada, YSL Manifesto tote and pink lips.

Happy

Starting to get used to this island life and find myself waking up early morning feeling rested, must be the combo of warm, sunshine, relaxation and perhaps more importantly, early nights. Cannot recall last time I even considered calling it a day before midnight, well, here I do and it’s wonderful, perhaps a good routine to bring a long home…….
