Puuh, you were right guys, moving is not fun at all while you’re in the middle of it, but it will be worth it at the end of the tunnel for sure. While I upload some photos and go through my inbox that haven’t been touched for days here are Lagerfeld, Roitfeld, and SJP’s thoughts about Chanel’s Little Black Jacket during the making of the book project.
Beautiful, a video by Cyrille de Vignemont for Isabel Marant, can you feel the summer breeze?
Say goodbye to Raf Simons for Jil Sander, oh, what an incredible beautiful way to end the 7 year marriage, enjoy!
You haven’t missed out on Topshop Unique‘s fantastic (and affordable) fall collection, no doubt the strongest I’ve seen from Topshop ever. Fe-masculine military dressing with no quirky styling in sight, thumbs up to Emma Farrow, enjoy!

OMG, ok, I promise not to turn this blog into a video blog but I couldn’t help charing this rare clip with you that I came across yesterday. 2012 is obviously the year when the Vogue department want to show us that it doesn’t take itself too serious (see Vogue Italia’s IVC video), and now the creme de la creme of Vogue Paris in this hilarious video fronted by Emmanuelle Alt. Now I just wonder what funny tricks Anna Wintour is up to……
Ok, though I’ve decided not to centre this space around H&M’s next designer collaboration, and that you’ve probably already seen it, it doesn’t hurt watching again. Beautiful Imogen Poots, Marrakesh, Bryan Ferry, Marni prints, palmes and lounge pools, captured by Sofia Coppola, perfect for a chilly Monday morning, works for me.
If you have missed out on this spring’s fastest shoes, most glittery bijoux, and some of the coolest prints that I guess anyone with a right mind would want to add to their wardrobes (if they could), then here it is, Prada’s spring/summer 2012 campaign video, which takes place on a gas station (highly suitable!). Vroom Vroom, enjoy!
You’ve probably seen the beautiful Chanel spring campaign by now, where Joan Smalls and Saskia de Brauw perform gymnastics hanging above the sea, seen through the lens of Lagerfeld himself. Here’s a behind-the-scene-video from the shot that took place in Cap d’Antibes, and if you’re not already longing for summer by the sea, this might get you started….
Happy Friday noon!
Hehe, who said fashion was lacking humor? Vogue Italia have released a video to accompany the “ironic” January cover that pays homage to shopping networks. You’ll get a glimpse of the covetable car themed spring 2012 collection and jewellery by Prada, Gucci’s Chrysler Building-inspired flapper dresses, Balenciaga, Chanel, YSL and many more, with funny boxes on screen like “same day shipping, hassle free”, accompanied by elevator music that would qualify on the 70′s Love Boat.
Cool chick Chloë Sevigny let us have an insight into her closet and the story that goes along with some of her stuff. Wishing my wardrobe was this organized….
The award winning North-Norwegian jewellery designer, Bjørg, creates jewellery close to my heart, and her latest collection doesn’t disappoint, raw but yet so incredible beautiful.
Her latest video Heresy by Matias & Mathias which is is an extension of the lookbook might not be for the fainthearted so I’m warning you that some of you might find it quite disturbing. But I came across this blog post by the Swedish filmmaker Emil Klang and I couldn’t have said it better myself.
Wow, Marni is the latest in the range of luxury fashion houses to collaborate with H&M, the collection, that will include pieces for both women and men, will launch 8th of March worldwide and online, and will consists of typical Marni fabrics and prints with a high street price tag, sounds and looks very promising indeed!
Haha, love it, the divas are back in true 90′s supermodel style, Helena, Naomi, Herzigova, Cindy and Le Bon play the band members of Duran Duran rocking London, ordering champagne for breakfast, partying hard with bondage dressed female groupies in hotel rooms and pretty much over shadow the newbies of models more than 20 years their junior. I have to warn you though, in true Jonas Åkerlund style the video is almost 10 min long.
Once again, one of my weaknesses, fashion films, and this one is a beautiful editorial film directed by Marcus Ohlsson for the Italian magazine Velvet. A natural beauty, a lake, frosty air, leaves, chord trousers, wool knitwear and fur pieces, suddenly cooler days don’t seem so terrifying afterall.
What’s on repeat on my mind is Empire Of The Sun’s “We Are The People” and I find myself humming it constantly.
Now I’m heading to my hairdresser, check in later and enjoy the awkward video!
