Hope you all had an enjoyable weekend, here’s pretty much what I’ve been doing, scanned through interior magazines for inspiration and made the final choice of colors. For those of you who’ve been following me for a while might know I’ve been looking for a bigger flat for a long time, back in January we did find the one, hellloooo my new wardrobe space, the big move will happen next week, so excited!!!
Simply bags
Here are some of my favorite bags and details spotted during fashion weeks, some last season, some classics and some new, not very surprisingly I seem to be drawn to Celine’s and Givenchy’s, but who could blame me. Except that I’m very into white bags these days the Obsedia bag by Givenchy has been hunting me for a long time, and I’m tempted to strike…..
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!
Doina
Doina Ciobanu demonstrates so well how a sharply cut printed coat can lift an otherwise casual jeans look. This pretty girl from Moldovia actually wore her own design accessorized with a Stella McCartney ipad clutch on a quite chilly day at Paris Fashion Week.
Picks
Haven’t had time for shopping nor keeping track on what’s in store lately but when my mum visited this weekend I managed to get a quick over look and here are a few favorites that I wouldn’t mind at all now when it feels like spring is here. The silk set on the left by Topshop Boutique is already safely stored in my wardrobe and will be a winner worn as a whole paired with high heels and a clutch, or the perfectly wide high waisted trousers worn with a cropped top and midriff.
Silk T-shirt and silk trousers by Topshop Boutique, bermuda shorts by Helmut Lang, sandals by Alexander Wang, bag Phillip Lim, watch by Givenchy and denim jacket by Acne.
Graphic
I’ve spotted a few of these graphic pants (might be by Celine) during fashion week month, but styling stripes like these is not always an easy task. However I love how the cutest red hair out there, Taylor Tomasi Hill, toned down hers in Milan with a white shirt+jumper combo, and let most of the attention fall on the optical mile long legs, perfect!
Ulyana
I love classics like denim on denim, and except for wearing the look myself here in Paris I’ve seen loads of it, either it’s due to the chilly weather that caught us all by surprise and forced people to improvise with whatever warm they’d brought along I don’t know, but for sure it’s a look that kind of always works. One person I don’t think need to improvise much though with her wardrobe is Ulyana Sergeenko, who for once stepped out in a more casual look the other day and looked super cute.
Balenciaga A/W 12-13

Wow, hello there Nicolas Ghesquière, now, this collection made my heart skip a beat, absolutely love this forward thinking take on corporate dressing and this time around I really like the styling having the pre-collection freshly in mind. The slogan jumpers and the voluminous upper parts in fabrics that look like they’ve got a life on their own (so Balenciaga) paired with A-line skirts are definite favorites. If this would ever end up as dress etiquette in the corporate office world I might consider going back, see the whole collection here.
Dsquared2 A/W 12-13

I’m not really a Dsquared2-kinda-girl, I usually think the designer duo drive the bad-girl-sexy-image a little too far, but in their latest collection for fall 2012 there are many looks I love (at least for inspiration), yes, yes to boxy upper parts, cropped pants and pointy ankle strapped shoes!
Jil Sander A/W 12-13
Say goodbye to Raf Simons for Jil Sander, oh, what an incredible beautiful way to end the 7 year marriage, enjoy!
All grey
Grey must be a favorite color of Anya Ziourova, I’ve snapped her several times in all grey outfits and she always rocks it, like in these silvery jeans, blazer and that irresistible cute beanie.
