I love super soft slogan jumpers that are perfect to cool-down something “too-pretty” or simply throw on with a pair of jeans with heels or relaxed boots. A favourite in my wardrobe is Brian Lichtenberg’s Homies above, but I wouldn’t mind adding any of these others to my little slogan collection as well.
Woop woop, I’m back in London and jumped straight into my heels this morning when I joined a fabulous group of women at Tod’s Christmas lunch at 5 Hertford Street. I wore my new stripey viscose blouse from Zara (a real budget bargain!), a new pair of velvet skinnies by J Brand (maternity-fantastic!), my beloved Agnes by Jimmy Choo, signature bag by Tod’s and a new golden coin bracelet by Monica Vinader (coins are my latest crush!). Now getting ready for next event, wishing you all a fabulous eve too!
Guess if I turned a little starstruck yesterday when Grace Coddington signed my latest book addition, her autobiography “A Memoir” at Browns Fashion. She’s such a talented graceful beautiful woman that I have my deepest respect for and I cannot wait to dig into this gorgeous book during my Christmas-days-off.
This morning I enjoyed looking through my new beautiful Kate book while sipping to a cup of ginger-mint-tea with fennel and lemon, a new obsession of mine(!), the tea I mean.
If you already are the owner of the book (if not you’ll find it here), and perhaps would like to meet Kate in person, then you can bring it with you tomorrow the 15′th (between 5pm and 7pm), to Marc Jacob’s Bookmarc store in Mayfair and have it signed. If you’re not queueing up for yourself it would sure make a great Christmas gift to a fashion loving friend…….
As you may know I moved into my new flat in London about 6 months ago, leaving the Leicester Square buzz behind. You should think 6 months is enough to get settled furniture and interior-wise, but it feels like there’s still a long way to go. These beauties however would help me one step closer to that homy feeling I’m trying to achieve.
Yesterday I had a closer look on the highly anticipated MMM for H&M collab that will hit stores in a couple of weeks. I have to admit I’ve been kind of sceptic to the final result ever since the collaboration was announced, simply cause I didn’t see how the usual great Margiela quality would translate into highstreet prices. Well, scepticism aside, the collection is great, in fact my favourite H&M collab so far, and the fabrics are absolutely approved.
Overall the collection is quite voluminous and oversized which is right up my alley, but certain pieces like the oversized (and one sized!) woolcoat for instance, sizes quite big, and I felt a little drowned in it with my 5ft’8in. However, it’s still one of my favourite pieces along with the blue turtle knit, and wide leg suit…..and many other beautiful things both in the women and men’s(!) collection.
Well hello there, if the freshly released campaign images of the collaboration Maison Martin Margiela + H&M are anything to go by I say hurray!!!!! The images photographed by Sam Taylor-Johnson are absolutely stunning and the pieces looks fantastic, those coats are officially on my wishlist, so I cannot wait to feel the fabrics up close.
The collection will be available in stores and online on November 15th.

I’ve hardly bothered to stop by Zara lately, reason? Cause I find it quite off-putting when I see straight off copycat collections and pieces in the shelves. Don’t get me wrong, I really love the highstreet, and do understand that they take inspiration in trend forecasts based on designers collections, but sometimes they just take it too far. However, today I’ll give Zara another go, as there are some promising pieces in their October lookbook, how about that oversized leather jacket for instance?
The content that I always carry around in my bag is not very exciting, cards, cash, sunnies, gum, business cards and hand gel, actually I never carry around other make-up than lipsticks and gloss.
But my new hero that I wont leave my house without and that has saved my feet from blisters after 2 fashion weeks in heels and not-worn-in-shoes, is an anti-friction stick. On advice from my good friend Lee Oliveira I got this in a NY pharmacy for a couple of dollars, stick it on and it works as a second skin with no grease, bye bye plasters and worthless compeed’s!

I’ve taken far better quality images recently than this grainy iphone shot, but hey, it has to do the job tonight as I’m way too tired to even look in the direction of my camera. Today I’ve been travelling and running around in my new pair of perfectly gray washed, loose-skinny-jeans from Mango. As I need a little more “waistline-room” these days these will do as they are low-waisted, super soft, and a bargain for £29.
This fall I’m gonna wear bare legs with boots as long as temperatures allows it, and I’m especially hooked on wrap skirts. I’ve already got these gorgeous glossy boots, one of my purchases in NY, but if I had all these goodies (in stores now), I’d wear this look any fall-like day now during fashion month. I would probably choose a size up in the knitwear for a more oversized and boxy look ala Proenza, so in love with their silhouette this fall.
