Outside it’s a grey wet Friday noon but inside I’m all cozed up with Vogue Paris and LOVE’s spring/summer issue, can’t wait to dig into both. Happy weekend to you too!
Vogue Paris what takes you so long to hit counters in London, cause I can’t wait to dive into this February issue that looks fully packed of inspiration. Especially this editorial styled by Emmanuelle Alt modelled by Andrea Diaconu, that includes cool casual denim styling, trench coats, streets of NY, a great model, Dries, hairy Celine sandals (better get used to these I’m afraid), and stunning images by David Sims. Absolutely love this spread!
I want to wear some colour on my lips these days ala the deep red shade above, however the problem for me whenever I’ve used covering lipsticks in the past, especially at this time of year, is that my lips get too dry. Any miraculous tips out there on a deep red moisturizing lipstick?
Back in the end of July I did a job for InStyle Germany in Paris, and I had so much fun on the day working with such pro’s. The fully 8 pages “A walk in the Parka”-spread is now out in the November issue, photographed by Max von Treu, styled by Anneke Krieglsteiner, and Ben Mayer on hair&make-up. Perhaps not the way you’re used to seeing me, but oh it’s refreshing stepping out of the comfort zone from time to time!

Doing a whole editorial surrounding the colour red can easily end up being a little cliche’ish and feeling everything but fresh. While the usual settings are forests and castles I found this editorial, shot on a beach for SnC September 2012, so refreshing and beautiful!
Good morning everyone, I’m back in London after a very busy day of shooting but oh did I have fun!!! Shooting on locations blocking the hectic Paris’ traffic, being transported around in a big yellow bus filled with Burberry, YSL, Isabel Marant, Prada, Miu Miu, Hermes, Etro, McCartney, Roberto Cavalli, Charlotte Olympia, Louboutin’s and a dozen other goodies, doesn’t happen on my daily basis. But the highlight was working with such a great and professional team, easy going people who kept my spirit up though I was wearing wintery clothes in 28 degrees under a burning sun, needless to say close to melting point, thank you all!!!
I’ve received several mails from you lovely readers who wanted to tip me about this list, thank you so much for your excitement and thoughtfulness! Though I’m not very into lists and such I would be insane(!) if I didn’t think it was cool to be on Vogue’s Best Dressed List. Other on the list are Joan Smalls, Lauren Santo Domingo, Anya Ziourova, Lady Gaga, Hanne Gaby Odiele, Rula Jebreal, Anne Hathaway, Rihanna and Miranda Kerr, such an honour, so thank you so much Vogue!!!
Oki, have to run to welcome family arriving to town, wishing you all a lovely eve!
