Vogue US December issue provides the perfect inspiration for the 70’s flare in the air perfected on Natalia Vodianova styled by Grace Coddington. Except for being totally sold on high waisted suede A-line skirts I’m personally so in the mood for a longer or short suede coat belted in the waist, the hunt is on!
If there’s one accessory I’ve been searching high and low for for months is the perfect single statement earring, as seen on Celine’s A/W 14-15 show back in March. These specimen above by Louis Vuitton and Celine tick all the boxes, and would possible dig deep holes in your pockets too, but wanted oh yes!
Being a knit-kinda-girl I’m super excited about all the fabulous knit options and statement pieces that will rule this coming fall and winter. Can we ever get enough of oversized long-sleeved soft turtlenecks, me think not, and I’m more than tempted to go for an all knitted set too, yum!
Time for some summery editorial inspiration, especially since we seem to be stuck with our chilly 15 degrees at the moment. If you haven’t seen it already then Vogue UK June issue styled by Clare Richardson, and lensed by josh Olins, offers one of the most beautiful and idyllic spreads I’ve come across lately. Please give us a holiday with the girls on the countryside along with a suitcase of stripped down beige, khaki and chilling white pieces, anyone?
You’ve probably seen it already but this “Kicking Back”- editorial in Vogue US April issue pretty much sums up my mood this spring, stripped back simplicity, chilled silhouettes and gorgeous effortless pieces. Thumbs up to crew Grace Coddington, photographer Karim Sadli and girl crush Daria Werbowy.
Being a black cat and all I can’t help loving an all black editorial from time to time. Some may say black looks don’t translate that well through images like power colours and prints, but if it comes in a gorgeous B&W package like this it certainly speaks to me, and yes, finding it inspiring too. Vogue Paris March 2014, Karlie Kloss photographed by David Sims, and styling by Emmanuelle Alt.
Bringing onboard ethnical accessories with an otherwise minimal and chilled look feels so right this moment! Loving this editorial inspiration by Vogue Germany February issue, photographed by Claudia Knoepfel and Stefan Indlekofer, styling by Nicola Knels.
Scandinavian biannual magazine SSAW offers of of the most beautiful and dramatic(!) editorials I’ve seen in a while, where Frida Gustavsson radiates on different Scandinavian locations photographed by Boe Marion. Knowing I’m perhaps a little bias, since some of these scenes could have been my own native backyard, but judge for yourself here if you wanna escape a rainy Monday noon!
Oh how we love how a pair of sneakers complete an otherwise not-so-sneaker’ish outfit, don’t we? Loving the styling in Vogue Netherlands December issue, and I seriously need to add a pair of dark coloured Air Max’es to my wishlist below.
Leave it to Vogue Paris editorials to inspire with trends and pieces you never realised you actually wanted, wide legged avant garde belted trousers likes these for instance, not to mention yet new “Birkenstock-inspired-versions”, well, we can blame Phoebe Philo for the latter.
One of the magazines always glittering up my coffee table is Acne Paper. The 15’th issue that was released last week is a tribute to some of the greatest actresses of our time and includes portraits, interviews, illustrations and tributes to the likes of Greta Garbo, Isabella Rosselini, Liv Ullman, Robin Wright, Jessica Lange, Vanessa Redgrave, Meryl Streep, and the list goes on.
