Saint Laurent pre-fall campaign by Hedi Slimane
Freja, V-necks and pinstripes!
If you’re a fan like me of Topshop’s Unique line then you’re probably too will welcome the launch of Unique’s first pre-fall and resort collections. Personally I tend to like capsule collections more than the mains and judging by what I’ve seen it looks quite promising in this case too. The pre-fall 2013 collection which include silky tailored pieces and accessories (with a Celine’ish feel) lands in stores and online today.
I’m a huge fan of my friend and talented designer Noor Fares fierce fine jewellery, and her hot galactic A/W collection includes loads of mouth watering pieces with the perfect balance of lines, beauty and rawness, not to mention a few juicy carats of diamonds(!). If you got some deep pockets and want to lay your hands on any of these exclusive beauties you can pre-order her A/W 2013 collection here right now until 26th of April.
Speaking of overalls, how cute is this little number by MiH Jeans, that depending on choice of shoes and accessories could work at any occasion, from relaxed holiday to city parties, WANT! (yours for £198)
I’ve had a closer look on Stella McCartney’s A/W 2013 collection which is one of my favourites for fall. Key pieces are the tartan coats and knitwear but also boy’ish pinstripes, coats(!), gorgeous lace and silk pieces and girly floppy dresses, like this cutie above.
Spending time at home nursing my baby can be seriously dangerous for my wallet(!), and in between her naps I find myself searching for all those “necessary” pieces for spring. I’ve wanted a bomber jacket for a long time and my final choice lands on this bulky beauty by Stella McCartney, so versatile and goes with everything, LOVE!
5 accessories I wouldn’t mind at all this spring are sets of golden rings, pointy slippers, something studded (an-all-year-rounder!), a minimal clutch and round sunnies, and these are some of my favourites in store right now.
Set of golden rings by Balenciaga, iphone case by Saint Laurent Paris, slippers by Zara, ipad case by Acne and sunnies by Prism.
I’ve been craving a pair of white pumps some time now, same happened last year when I totally fell for Alexander Wang’s Joan’s. However, white heels can easily look a little “wrong” (tarty anyone?), but a pair that definitely looks right in my eyes this season are these by Saint Laurent (Slimane again I know!). If interested you’ll find them with a higher heel here or other colours here.
In case you didn’t know you’ll find Topshop Unique’s runway collection in selected stores and online right now, but some pieces are selling like hot bread so be aware. I’ve secured some of my favourite pieces myself that will be perfect for layered airy looks come spring, oh wonderful days ahead!
Floral silk dress (£165), check silk shirt (£85), panel jumper (£), check silk trousers (£135) and leather clutch (£300).
Looking for a leather biker this season? Then a hot tip is this beauty by Swedish brand Hunkydory seen on Anna Seleznava in their SS13 campaign, you’ll find it soon in their online shop.

Couldn’t help myself other than borrowing this image from Vogue.fr, cause it’s too great to be missed. Anja Rubik I don’t envy you at all (!!!) rocking this fabulous Balmain off duty look toned down with the perfect chilled out pieces, a wool coat, round sunnies, and the hair, glorious!
Ok, here we go again, yet another Saint Laurent pick. Though I wasn’t such a fan about many of the runway looks this collection simply include so many beautiful separates from basics and tailored to shoes and accessories, that the more I see the more I wish for (me greedy? no!). So today’s little wishful thought is this gorgeous crepe dress with sheer sleeves, that I could easily make room for in my wardrobe until I’m fit for a dancefloor again, but sadly that’s a hard one to justify right now. (Yours for £1,521)
Acne, Kenzo & Dagmar, images style.com
Off shoulders, yeah, like seen in Acne’s and Kenzo’s S/S 2013 and Dagmar’s A/W 2013 collection, definitely something I’m gonna sport when spring finally arrives! Btw, Swedish brand Dagmar presented their fall collection this week in Stockholm, really worth checking out, see the whole collection here.

Except for classic pointy pumps and sling backs (my favourites!) are sort of every-season-trends, also trending this spring are cut-outs and gladiator styles as seen at Altuzarra, Alexander Wang, Proenza Schouler and Isabel Marant. PVC details and clear surfaces on everything from soles, heels and straps as seen at Chanel, Valentino, Celine, Stella McCartney and Givenchy, are also here to stay this coming spring and summer.
