Seriously crushing on Stella McCartney’s A/W-14 knitted creations, knits awesomeness I’d say, and if knitwear didn’t peak this season I’m pretty sure it’s gonna be one of next falls major trends (Céline too!). For those of you talented and creative knitters out there, here are your next DIY projects!
After spending a week on the road in Scandinavia I find myself once again looking north-east for inspiration, hereby some of my favourite Scandi picks in stores, yum!
Oversized bulky bags, shoppers, shoulders bags, clutches and backpacks in all their glory, when it comes to a night out or a cocktail party, I prefer to bring along a bag as small as possible, and a mini box bag with a strap is an essential in every woman’s closet. After years of holding on to a clutch on nights out on town, I swear to little box beauties these days, which give you the room for shaking hands, cheering drinks and a free hand for your smart phone, yeah!
With Alessandra Facchinetti onboard, Tod’s has taken a step up both on ready-to-wear and on the accessory side. The footwear for instance, still classy with a little more edge, or umph you may call it, and we like that don’t we? City sleek, lust worthy buckled and fringed sandals are amongst my favourites, and you’ll find them on Tod’s.com this spring or can be pre-ordered here now, yum!
Scarves as statement details made is revival on Celine’s A/W 12 runway, but this season it’s popping up in many places, and it’s such a nice detail paired with a simple top. I’ve already laid my hands on a few favourites out there myself, and my advice if you want to archive that tight little knot is to go for smaller, squared scarves in silk, twill or delicate cashmere.
One styling detail that I’m specially fond of this spring is the belted waist that popped up on more than one runway this season. Whether you like sporting thin or wider versions, it’s a great way to update or restyle any dress, shirt or jumper, and I’m sure we all have loads of them in a drawer somewhere, I’m on it searching for mine!
A new year, new shoes right, and since many of us already have stocked up with sneakers and flats the past year its only fair to add some (comfortable or uncomfortable!) heights to the shoe closet. In any case these mules by Alexander Wang would be very welcomed in mine, yours for a juicy £488 and you can find them here.
