I’ve had a wonderful time in NY and I’ve totally fallen for this fantastic city and played with the idea more than once to move over here, if only it was that simple….. but this eve it’s time to head back to London where fashion week continues tomorrow, see you there!
I have so many images I want to share with you but unfortunately there haven’t been much time to edit them yet. Anyway here are some from Christian Siriano’s SS12 collection which consisted mainly of neutrals with pop-up of fluors, gorgeously floating maxi’s and cropped trousers, all with a touch of ladylike coolness without feeling to strict.
PS: When I figure out how to upload my videos I’ll post them here.
Ok, I’m off and this is how it looks when I travel to NY on my own, 2 luggages and one cabin bag and I’m afraid there’s some serious over weight going on, but hey, what else is a girl suppose to do, or perhaps I’m just really bad a packing? (the last one most likely)
I really hope you wanna join me “over there”, see you all and have a lovely Wednesday!
Good eve folks, not much of blogging today from my side and in a minute I’m heading out for dinner at Ramsey’s Maze, but I thought I could share this book tip with you. The book I’m carrying around in my bag at the moment is One Day by David Nicholls, hilarious and romantic, and the movie is in cinemas right now, starring Anne Hathaway. Just need to finish off the book quickly before I’ll be joining with popcorn.
On Saturday in Paris I spotted the incredible handcrafted waistcoat from Balenciaga’s fall collection, my favorite look was on full display but I was in a hurry and only snapped it through the windows. There were a whole lot of quick window-shopping that day, followed by a few treats to myself. Sadly the weather was crap so I ended up sporting taxi’s instead of wandering along the river which I always do when I’m there.
I’ve been asked by some of you readers to to tip about places to shop and eat when in Paris, I’m probably not the right person to advice as I’m not a “local”, but I’m gonna try to put something together, from a tourist’s point of view.
My blog turns 1 year today, cant believe it’s one year since I decided to start my blog which has now become such a big part of my daily life. A big thanks to all of you readers who’s been following me for a while and for your new ones as well. Thanks to you all I keep motivated even if some days feels dry of inspiration. Skål!
To all of you who entered my giveaway last week, thank you all for such wonderful feedback, so much appreciated! I picked the winner through generating a random number using a model, yes, I’m still a geek, everyone had an equal fair chance so it was not based on the content of you comment. The lucky girl’s named Aga and she’s from Poland, congrats!
I’ve never had giveaway‘s here on my blog before and thought it was about time, not a big thing though but for those of you who collect YSL Manifesto‘s here’s a chance to get your hands on the Manifesto kit from F/W 2009-10, an unworn YSL tote including the Manifesto itselves.
All you have to do is to comment on this post by 16.07.2011, no specific motivation needed, I will randomly pick the lucky one on 17.07.2011, international readers are welcome as well.
I’ve had several of these totes laying around and always bring them along on trips when I need alternative bags, like right now when I’m hanging by a pool in Turkey.
Have a wonderful Monday noon and good luck!
Update 16.07.2011: Closed
Sorry guys, for lousy posting but I’ve just had it of rainy days in London and I’m jumping on a last minute flight to Turkey to join my mum and teenage brother for a few days in the sunshine. It’s not really a holiday for me as I still need to work but I rather work on my laptop in the sunshine by a pool than in a tiny London flat. Soon, I’ll have sand between my toes again, can’t wait, see you there!
