Classics

As you may know my style is not very complicated and pretty simple, you may call me boring, but to me nothing beats timeless classics, and preferable in non-screamy colours. I would also dare to say opting for classic pieces of high quality will “save” you money in the long run. Whether you agree to this statement or not at least you’re more likely to use them many seasons right.
Anyway, I like mixing my basics (black denims and blazer) with structured pieces, like this python bag by Tod’s, a new baby in my closet.

Oslo

Happy Monday noon everyone!
I’ve enjoyed my last week in Oslo with family and friends in the most surprisingly gorgeous weather, and haven’t had much time for updates. Stylewise it’s been pretty relaxed and right now I cannot get enough of these super soft dungarees with just the perfect wash.
Little Hedda on the other hand has finally got the chance to wave those little toes free in the air, bless the arrival of summer!

Staples

We all have a few staples in our wardrobe that we always tend to grab for, the few items you really love and never seem to get enough of, especially on days your creativity is like non existing. In my case these goodies are as simple as skinny jeans, along with some t-shirts, so basically the most basic you can imagine.
Needless to say I felt glorious happy the other day when I finally managed to slip into my favourite skinnies again after being separated way too long (8 months!), that feeling…..

Eyes


Having your beauty sleep interrupted by a hungry baby screaming way too early every morning surely does nothing good for your mirror reflection, and certainly not for the eye area. These two products have helped me to reduce puffy eyes these last 2 months along with litres of water, thumbs up!

Unique Pre-Fall

If you’re a fan like me of Topshop’s Unique line then you’re probably too will welcome the launch of Unique’s first pre-fall and resort collections. Personally I tend to like capsule collections more than the mains and judging by what I’ve seen it looks quite promising in this case too. The pre-fall 2013 collection which include silky tailored pieces and accessories (with a Celine’ish feel) lands in stores and online today.

Denims, flats and sunny rain


Happy morning!
Right now I’m about to jump on a train to Paris along with my little girl, and if I ever thought I had difficulties packing and organising before I certainly have pushed the barrier a little further now.
Anyway, here’s close to what I’ve been wearing a lot lately, denims and flats, which simply suits my lifestyle and (London) weather, like when these images were snapped it went from sunny to rainy almighty.

Practicality

Hope you all had a fabulous weekend!
This week certainly has been busy on my side, including press days, meetings, parties, and very long walks (part of my getting-back-pre-preggy-regime). My little girl came along on most of it in a baby carrier, and managed to sleep throughout a slightly crazy Stella McCartney sample sale while I had my arms full of Stella treasures.

Motherhood is still very new to me, but if there’s one thing I’ve picked up so far it’s being practical, and if I wasn’t before I sure am now. Putting on a silky top with a dry clean tag or other delicate fabrics with a newborn drooling in your arms is not so clever. However, this “practicality” doesn’t mean I won’t leave my house in heels anymore, strutting around in heels is also a great form of exercise right.

Multitasking

Happy Sunday everyone!
Sorry for a slightly slow “comeback” but I’ve had my hands pretty full lately, and though I have got dressed every morning(!), having it caught on camera hasn’t been first priority or simply forgotten, but I’ll get back in there for sure when days run a little smoother.

Some sort of spring has finally arrived in London (so happy!), but I’ll definitely wait a little longer before bringing out floaty, light fabrics and bare legs, Anyway, it’s wonderful to air those feet that has been locked in way too long this winter, don’t you think?
